Here are some pictures of my last day at the Post Office.
It was a good day starting with breakfast,
and a retirement party at the PO.
It rained, sleeted, and snowed on my last day of delivering the mail.
So bye bye my letterfriends, now you have to send e-mail instead!!!

Many years ago, in the 40's to late 50's, I grew up in at 404
S. 5th Street. It now is being worked on and has the old siding taken off of it. The old house looks a lot like it did when
I lived there and the old yellow siding is now visible.

I am living in a little charming house in DeKelb in Illinois, about 60 miles west of Chicago, US. Put the curser over the picture and see!!!

I am working for the US Postal Service as a letter carrier

My hobbies is train, as you see I have my own railway construction! Here I am, looking at the train exhibit in Chigago, Illinois.

 I'm a big Green Bay Packers fan too.

And looks good too, but sorry Ladies, I'm married!

When we talke about trains, here comes the Steam Train Rochelle!!!
I was there and many other too when the train passed at June 14

Here we see the U P Engine with the US Flag!
 
Steam Engine #1223 is a Berkshire Type Class N-1 2-8-4.
Only one engine of this class still remains running, which is #1225.
The engine is now located on display in the town of Grand Haven, Michigan. This engine had over 3000 horsepower.
This caboose was part of the Grand Trunk Railroad as is the coal tower next to it. It is also located on display at Grand Haven, Michigan
Engine #1223 used to haul freight from Chicago, Saginaw, Detroit and Toledo. Some of the parts for this engine has been used to keep engine #1225 running.
I was in the field with my M-16 rifle.
While I was in Vietnam I was located at Camp Enari, near Pleiku, Vietmam. Dragon Mountain is in the back ground.
